Introduction
Haj Services Strategic Unit (HSSU) in MUIS strives to be one of the best Haj authorities in the world.
The unit aims to:
Ensure the requirements of the Muslim Law are complied with in relation to the provision of haj services
Safeguard the safety and welfare of Haj pilgrims in the Holy Land
Promote the proper administration of any matter relating to the Haj
Function
Haj Services Strategic Unit functions to:
Allocate official Haj places given by Saudi authorities to eligible applicants on a first-come-first-served basis (based on registration date);
Appoints Haj travel agents to provide range of Haj packages to our pilgrims;
Serves the Singapore Pilgrims’ Affairs Office and coordinate and manage medical services to our pilgrims in the Holy Land:
Coordinate and collaborate with the Association of the Muslim Travel Agents, Singapore (AMTAS) to ensure the safety of our pilgrims’ departures to the Holy Land and safe arrival to their loved ones in Singapore;
Coordinates with relevant Saudi authorities to process Haj visa for our pilgrims.
