Singapore Halal Certification process

The Singapore Halal Certification process includes preparation, application, processing, certification, post-certification inspections, and renewal.

  1. Enquiries / Preparation

  2. Application

    • Submit NEW Halal application via GoBusiness Licensing portal

    • For Amend / Renewal application, visit E-Service Portal

  3. Processing

    • Undergo document verification

    • Participate in audits / inspections

  4. Certification

    • Receive Halal Certificate (Valid for 1 or 2 years)

  5. Post-Certification

    • Undergo unannounced inspections

    • Update information such as menu, ingredients and contact information via E-Service Portal as needed

  6. Renewal

    • Renewal application automatically submitted 120 days before expiry date
