Other Causes
Currently, a portion of wakaf disbursements goes towards assisting individuals and families with other needs such as financing of burial costs.
Every year, at least 10% of all wakaf disbursements help to assist:
- Relatives of the wakifs
- The distressed and underprivileged in the community including the fakir and miskin to provide them food and burial services. On average, Wakaf disbursements aid 50 burial cases annually.
